RECENT EVENTS: Saint Rafka Hafli Greenville, SC, Nov 10, 2007 This St Rafka fundraiser hafli was attended by a full house of parish members and many St Rafka friends from Greenville and neighboring cities. The hafli was held at the beautiful Gullivan Hall of St Mary's. The food was home-cooked 100% Lebanese, donated by the parish members. It was out of this world, unlike any you'll ever taste at a restaurant. And oh the pastries! Ya mamaaa! Znood-el-sitt, maamoul, nammoura, you name it... (yes, I have a sweet tooth as well as a musical ear!). The band SAHAR, led by our singer Nabil Tohme from Miami, played new and traditional songs. The dabkeh was very lively and the dancing went on throughout the evening... Interrupted only by the raffle and the auction.
